I went into an AT&T store today, and spoke with a sales rep named Jason.

Very nice guy who had some interesting thoughts on the new iPhone as well. We spoke for a while and traded ideas with regards to how Apple markets their products, and discussed the features of the iPhone 5. He showed me the Lightning cable – which was the first time I had seen one in person. I’m very surprised and impressed by the size of the tip. It is very small. I look forward to tearing into one and understanding the IC they put in the cable.

All the images on the web have it looking so large – but – it’s really small.  I like the feature that you can put it in either UP or DOWN.  The 30 pin was always a challenge
